Girls’ Night Out (GNO) was created to promote economic growth to businesses located in the downtown district and provides an opportunity for Yooper ladies to get out with friends around the opening day of hunting season. Girls Night Out (GNO) is an event coordinated by the Downtown Development Authority (DDA), which exists to create a flourishing, historic downtown in Iron Mountain.
To continue to offer this event whilst also accounting for the business requests in our post event survey, this year's event has been shifted to a four day long event from November 15 - November 18. Each business will choose their days/hours of operation.

THE SHOPPING CARD
You will be able to pick up your shopping cards at any downtown participating business starting November 15th. When you make a purchase at any participating downtown business, ask them to initial the back of the card at checkout, and fill in the rest of the purchase details on your own. Once you drop off the filled in card you will be entered into a raffle drawing to win a carefully curated downtown gift basket. The drawing for the winner will take place on November 18th at the after party at Sol Blu (scroll further to see the details of the event).
You can drop off your cards in a box that will be placed outside City Hall (details will be shared on our social media) by 4:00 PM on November 18th. Please ensure that your name and a contact number are clearly mentioned on the shopping card, so we may contact you in case you're unable to attend the after party.
