Downtown Business Relief Fund Grant Recipient: 906 Quilting Services

906 Quilting Services was one of 11 microgrant recipients from the Downtown Business Relief Fund. This fund was created to assist downtown small businesses that have been negatively impacted by COVID-19. The Friends of the DDA raised approximately $6,000 which was allocated to award microgrants to qualified downtown small businesses. Grant funds may be used for approved business-related operational costs, such as rent, utilities, or toward development of an e-commerce site for the business.

906 Quilting Services is located at 535 S. Stephenson Avenue in Downtown Iron Mountain, MI and is a full line quilting service and store. 906 Quilting offers a large largest selection of classes, which are offered almost daily. The Downtown Business Relief Fund was created by The Friends of the Iron Mountain DDA, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the purpose of supporting the services and programs of the Iron Mountain Downtown Development Authority within the established DDA district, in order to promote the revitalization of Downtown Iron Mountain.
